L'artista, associates, subcontractors, staff, successors and assignees shall herein be referred to as "Lartista". All those who engage with or hire Lartista for work or products shall herein be refereed to as "Client".

How do we help prevent the spread of corona-virus? L'artista has an obligation under the relevant Workplace, Health and Safety Act to ensure the safety and well-being of all our employees and we hope that everyone will do their best to cooperate with us and keep our appointments virus free. We too undertake practices to ensure our clients and staff are safe under the guidelines. By booking with us, client understands and consents that due to the nature of our work, social distancing cannot be accomplished consistently by our staff & thus releasing L'artista of any liability.

It is Client's responsibility to read and follow the instructions, guidelines, terms and conditions and understand that Client releases L'artista and staff from liability.
Although Terms, Conditions and Disclaimer already apply as our business policy; it is Client's responsibility to read and understand the terms, conditions and disclaimer herein. By engaging with Lartista for any business, Client agrees to the terms and conditions and are competent to execute and follow the terms and conditions. Client on premises agree to comply with the location’s OH&S guidelines. At all times Lartista is not liable or for death, any injury, or injuries caused as the result of any accident (acts of God included). Lartista is not liable for any sickness or injury caused as a result of services and/or products used, if a minimum of 14 days prior to appointment, notice has not been provided by Client of any allergies or any type or reason that makeup and hair products or services can cause any type of harm or sickness to Client. The artist and Lartista can not be held liable for any losses or affects that are incurred due to the clients failure to announce any skin or hair conditions prior to starting any hair or makeup treatment. Lartista shall not provide any services or products if payments according to Lartista’s invoice terms are not met. Lartista is not responsible for any expenses or liability incurred in any way by Client that is a result of any production or works Lartista is involved. It is the client’s responsibility to set limits on charges arising from or for any appointments works or additional services or products applied. Client is required to be respectful to staff and follow staff instruction during any session.
Client is required to honor scheduled services and appointments made with Lartista. In the event of booking cancellation or any changes made by Client either willing or unwilling and/or due to any change in circumstance to any scheduled service, bookings or appointments, deposit is nonrefundable and Client additionally risks penalty fees or the full amount invoiced to be forfeit to Lartista. Client is permitted only 2 alterations to be made to their booking before penalties or additional fees apply for each and any change (including but not limited to date, time, location and number of persons receiving service or product) . The non-refundable deposit amount will increase and be invoiced in the event where Client alters a booking by adding additional persons to undergo hair, makeup treatment or any service. All deposits are non-refundable. All non-refundable deposits applied to bookings are to be paid at the time of booking with the remaining balance to be paid on the day of the services are to be rendered. Payment of penalties and fees must be made according to due date and payment terms of invoice. Penalties apply for Client failure to pay invoices according to due date and payment terms of invoice. Penalties apply for late reminders of payment due. All services rendered are non-refundable. All charges invoiced must be made prior to appointment(s). Terms, conditions and disclaimer apply for all and any services or products, whether paid or otherwise is provided by Lartista. In the case any equipment has been left or taken by Client or their affiliates at the location of appointment, the Client agrees to return any property of Lartista at a time appointed by Lartista. Client further consents to being photographed, filmed or otherwise recorded by Lartista or any of their affiliates, and also gives permission to put or use the photographs, films, to any legitimate uses Lartista deems fit. Client further agrees and acknowledges that they have not, and will not claim to have, either under this agreement or otherwise, copyright, title, or interest of any kind or nature whatsoever, in and to any program of films or videotapes taken by which Client, appears including name and identity. Client releases Lartista, their associates, successors and assignees, from any and all claims for damages for libel, slander, invasion or the right of privacy, or any claim based on the use of said material. This release is made on behalf of Client and their heirs, executors, administrators and assigns. Lartista reserves the right to manipulate and adjust fundamental qualities and elements to suit commercial requirement. Lartista reserves the right to refuse services or to continue any appointment if Client is not following the terms & conditions or Lartista deems is sufficient cause, at which refund is not applicable.
LASHES:
Before booking an appointment with Lartista, it is a requirement to, read, understand & complete the online agreement form found here www.lartista.com.au/lashes
Whether lashes need to be removed for starting new lash extensions or not, removing lashes costs $30. Please note, we do not refill or maintain lashes from a procedure performed by a different salon or lash technician. Booking with Lartista for your professional procedure means you get a complete fresh start on your new pair of lashes with refill maintenance on Lartista lashes only.
Eyelash procedures information, requirements and policy:
There are risks associated with having artificial eyelashes and eyelash extensions applied to or removed from natural eyelashes. Client understands & agrees that as part of the procedure eye irritation and discomfort could occur. Client agrees that if Client experiences any of these conditions, Client must notify the eyelash extension professional that performed this procedure and may have to have the eyelashes removed. Client understands and agrees that should the eyelash specialist see a possible risk associated to previous reactions and/or complications or otherwise, Client may be required to have a patch test 24hrs before the full application to ensure Client will not have any further risks with this application or any further applications from the specialist. Client understands and agrees to follow the care and maintenance instructions provided by the eyelash professional for the use and care of eyelash extensions. Client understands and accepts the consequences of failure to adhere to there instructions and thus may cause the eyelash extensions and/or lashes to fall out and/or decrease the time the lash extension will last.
Clients understands that Lartista has a NO REFUND policy & will not receive a refund. Client understands and agrees they will be required to having eyes closed and covered for the duration of approximately 1-2 hour procedure & must NOT open eyes at any point unless directed to. Times may vary depending on the type and number of eyelashes applied. Client agrees to lie still for the entire procedure for safety reasons. Client agrees that shall they feel uncomfortable at any time during the procedure, then lash specialist will be notified.
Care & Maintenance:
Client understands that because of the natural lash cycle and wear and tear, Client will need to maintain extensions with refill appointments usually recommended every 2-4 weeks.
Client agrees to the follow eyelash extension follow-up and maintenance instructions:
Client understands photos and/or recordings of lashes for specialist's notes &/or promotional content may be taken before, during or after Client appointment. Client agrees to notify the specialist should consent not be given to be used in promotional content.
Client has read, understood and agrees that Client has provided correct & truthful information. Client acknowledges & understands that there are potential risks of harmful or negative side effects associated with having artificial eyelashes applied to and/or removed from existing eyelashes, and that not withstanding the utmost of care in the application or removal of these products, there still exist risks associated with the procedure and product itself, which include, but not limited to, eye irritation, eye pain, discomfort, and, in very rare cases, blindness even when applied in the usual manner.
Client understands and agrees that as part of the usual eyelash extension removal procedure, there is a risk that chemical adhesive remover may cause eye irritation or further eye damage to which Client will follow-up medical advice and care at Client's own expense and further release Lartista of any liability.
Client understand and agree to enter into a legal & binding agreement and hereby release any and all persons representing and acting on behalf of Lartista from all claims, demands, damages, actions and cause of action arising out of the performance of the service. Client must fully disclose all conditions regarding my health history, medications and past reactions to products, treatments and medications. Client agree to follow all Lartista's terms & conditions.
This agreement will remain in effect for all procedures, appointments and all future follow-ups.
Client affirms to fully capable to execute this agreement and consent to undergo eyelash extension procedures.
COVID-19
What Client needs to know
The corona-virus is most likely to spread from person-to person through:
- direct close contact with a person while they are infectious
- close contact with a person with a confirmed infection who coughs or sneezes, or
- touching objects or surfaces (such as door handles or tables) contaminated from a cough or sneeze from a person with a confirmed infection, and then touching your mouth or face. Most infections are only transmitted by people when they have symptoms. These can include fever, a cough, sore throat, tiredness and shortness of breath.
Practicing good hand and sneeze/cough hygiene is the best defense against most viruses. Client should:
- wash hands frequently with soap and water, before and after eating, and after going to the toilet
- Avoid touching your face, mouth and eyes
- cover cough and sneeze, dispose of tissues, and use alcohol-based hand sanitiser
- and; if unwell or have travelled to a high risk area, avoid contact with others (touching, kissing, hugging, and other intimate contact). If Client has returned from a country or region that is at higher risk for COVID-19, monitor health for the next 14 days.
- If Client has recently travelled to a designated infected area such as China, South Korea Italy or Iran, Client must notify us in first contact with us, visit the doctor and follow the health guidelines that will be provided to you by the appropriate authorities. (Please note that these designated infected areas may be extended).
- Respect social distancing where able.

- Washing of hands and using hand steriliser between every client.
- Limitations of how many people can be in certain areas at one time has been set in law and is to be respected at all times.
- Disposables are single use only and are to be disposed of in bins provided, immediately after use.
- Equipment sanatised.
- Encourage clients to pay with cards/online versus cash.
- Maintain a safe distance and avoid close contact with those infected individuals or those exhibiting symptoms of the virus.
- Where and when possible separate clients by 1.5 metres from each other.
- Eliminate the use of handshakes when greeting others.
- We, and client, should monitor personal health and condition, keeping an eye out on any of the symptoms.
- Drink water regularly as this limits the spread of the virus.
- Please expect that although you may not pose any risk, staff may wear and use protective equipment to help keep you and our staff safe.
- If at any time during appointment Client feel unwell or show any symptoms of a cold, then Client must inform management and immediately seek medical advice. Remember, although we all must take the necessary precautions, you do not have to have been overseas to contract the virus. Be conscious of your surroundings. Do not shake hands or embrace anyone and be careful on public transport.
- The Department of Health in each State and the Federal Government is providing guidelines on a daily basis for the management of the virus and its containment, so please ensure you adhere to the authorities’ guidelines

- No oil based products around the eye area
- No water can come into contact with the eye area for 24 hours after application
- No tinting or perming of the eyelash extensions
- No excessive rubbing or any pulling of the eyelash extensions
- No eye makeup removers
Client understands photos and/or recordings of lashes for specialist's notes &/or promotional content may be taken before, during or after Client appointment. Client agrees to notify the specialist should consent not be given to be used in promotional content.
